On to the Music

It was brought to my attention that on my blog I am not yet posting about music.
so here is a list of some of the stuff I really like.

classic and psychedelic rock. Also garage psychedelic
vanilla fudge, Traffic, King Crimson, Planet Melvin, The Flamin Oh's (hoorah for locals), Mott the Hoople, Robert Zimmerman, Nazz, Todd Rundgren, The easybeats, Chad Allan & The Expressions (guess who they are), morphine (check them out if you can), Roxy Music, Black Sabbath (Ozzy sucked as a solo, this goes to show how ego can kill quality) Badfinger, CAN, Japan, The Cure, Jethro Tull, Neil Young (best With Crazy Horse), Soundgarden (I Hate Audioslave), Yes, The Kinks, David Bowie (with the spiders from mars), Pink Floyd, Pantera (none of that bull-shit mask gimmick stuff, just rednecks and hard music) Nico, Lou Reed, The Suburbs, the replacements (Pre Slim, No offence I think stinson had more heart) The Beatles, Hot Tuna, The Polyphonic Spree, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cat Stevens ( Yusuf Islam, What happened?) Fleetwood mac (peter green and bob welsh NO STEVIE NICKS), Tool, the who, the pretty things, the stones, velvet underground (best with nico)., ., ., I also wanted to add Korn Should be castrated for their shitty cover of another brick in the wall part two, try to pick a song all the fake pink floyd fans love more if there is one, dipshit (well maybe money). And much more...

I took you to your first concert when you were 5 (REM) All uphill from there..So glad you mentioned the locals..The Suburbs, The Replacements and Flamingo (Flamin Oh's). Click Noah's links "The Flamin Oh's" Go to live music.and listen to "Every Game Has A Name"
It is one of the best two and a half minute little songs. Also loved you mentioning Rhinestone Cowboy (a great song of course embarrassed to like it), Cat Stevens (love Father & Son), Bowie (how great is Ziggy Stardust!) and Neil Young (Harvest! What a Masterpiece!)
I could go on and on. But, this is Noah's blog..not mine!

You have excellent taste. I hope in some small way, I had something to do with it.

Whoa, you DO have good taste! Good job Noah, mom and auntie! I'm right with you on lots of those; King Crimson, Nazz, Todd, the Guess Who, Roxy Music, Badfinger, Japan (Oil On Canvas), The Cure (their Faith/Seventeen Seconds/Pornography period, plus Disintegration), Tull, Neil Young, Yes, Bowie, Floyd, Lou Reed, Replacements, Beatles, Cat Stevens, Fleetwood Mac (Then Play On, Kiln House, Bare Trees but also some of the later stuff), Who, Pretty Things (S.F. Sorrow), Stones, V.U....

Others I like include Porcupine Tree, The Feelies, Guided By Voices, Led Zeppelin, Brian Eno (Warm Jets, Tiger Mountain, Another Green World and My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts with David Byrne), Robert Fripp (Exposure, plus his albums with Eno), John Cale solo albums, the Verve, Warren Zevon, Yo La Tengo, Mogwai, Godspeed! You Black Emperor, Explosions In The Sky, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Cheap Trick, Blue Oyster Cult, Chris Whitley, Grateful Dead (only their live stuff), David Gilmour solo stuff, Steely Dan/Donald Fagen, M83, Steve Earle, Echo and the Bunnymen, Elbow... there is too much good music and not enough time to hear it all!!!
